Building Fabric Engineer

General Building Maintenance Engineer - Worcestershire, Midlands and Staffordshire

Our client is a well-established Facilities Management company that has excelled and enjoyed record levels of growth in the past 2 years and now requires additional engineers to join their growing, friendly team.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake routine Reactive tasks in line with latest statutory guidelines, legislation & company procedures.
• Assisting with/leading scheduled PPM contract visits.
• Attending sites for urgent reactive works.
• Liaising with office staff to progress jobs in an effective and timely manner.
• Have good working knowledge of current Health & Safety and other relevant legislation.
• Diagnose building fabric failure during PPM maintenance & advise accordingly
• Provide Reactive repairs to a variety of building fabric items

Candidate Specification: 

Essential:

• Full, clean Driving Licence
• Experience within Commercial settings
• Multi-skilled in a variety of Building Fabric skillsets

Desirable:

• 2+ years' experience
• Proficient with IT (work is issued and reports filed electronically)
• It would be hugely advantageous to be able to deal with: Roofing patch repairs, Altro flooring repairs, General flooring repairs, Doors, Windows/Glazing, General Decorating works, Basic Plumbing
